Starting in 2012, Black Shore is the so far one man project of guitarist William Sullivan. Hailing from St. John's Newfoundland, Canada, Black Shore is a vehicle for all things in progressive music, drawing from many different genres and artists but gaining major influence from bands like Opeth, Genesis, Porcupine Tree, Yes, The Tea Party, as well as other artists such as Sol Invictus and Bonobo. Merging alt rock with time signature changes, heavy guitars and blast beats, as well as engaging and thoughtful lyrics, Black Shore intends to make a claim on the local St. John's music scene for progressive music.

I would like to thank everyone who has helped me along the long road to get this record completed and released. It's been quite a learning experience and goes hand in hand with the songs themselves. Some are older, some newer, but in its entirety is a personal journey but also has elements I feel anyone can relate to. Enjoy!
